Tenoo Jedi Temple (75358) New 4+ Lego Star Wars Set

Writer: AdelasAdelas

LEGO has just confirmed a 1st of June release for the new 4+ Star Wars set: Tenoo Jedi Temple!

Obviously, this set is aimed at a younger audience, with playability in mind, but with 3 minifigures (Lys Solay and Kai Brightstar with mid-sized legs and Master Yoda with small legs) and a Jedi training droid, this set promises to bring a more light-hearted approach for parents and younger LEGO enthusiasts to get into the hobby. With simplified instructions, and connectivity with the LEGO Builder app, the set appears to be an easy build, with hours of fun possible whilst you imagine training to become a Jedi.

Based off of the Young Jedi Adventures animated series, this set has many different play parts, including a 'levitating' rock function, blue-milk carton containing kitchen, bunk beds, a red speeder bike and lightsaber storage racks.

With this in mind, LEGO has put up the store page for the set, numbered 75358 at a price point of $64.99 AUD. This may turn off consumers, equating to a price-per-piece of just over 52c. LEGO themselves have posited the set as containing "starter bricks" and as such, this set appears to be catering to the market of parents and family members looking for a fun playset to gift, or to build and enjoy with their family. The set measures in at 12x14x8cm, so storage when not in play doesn't appear to be a problem.

The set does not appear to have much ability to be rebuilt into a variety of scenes, but the various features, and light-hearted approach makes this set perfect for pre-schoolers and young children. Overall, this set may be a tough purchase at its current price point, but at a discount, this set may be the perfect gift for younger LEGO fans and their families.

I've gotta say, I wish LEGO used this slot for a Jedi:Fallen Order, Jedi: Survivor or Bad Batch set... I understand the need for 4+ sets, but a 4+ set shouldn't cost $65 AUD - that's more than some playsets targeted at older fans cost! Good article Luke, thank you!
