So, I almost missed this due to being busy with life, but voting for the BDP series 8 submissions is almost finished.
Jump over to https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-8/main.page and check out the latest designs and let them know you like their work!
There are some names that continue to pop up amongst the designers, whether with LEGO designs that continue on a theme from a previous series (such as JonasKram and the Mushroom building of the forest elves), or designers creating new amazing builds (NicolasCarlier’s detailed sets), or people resubmitting previous designs in the hope that this will be their series… and history has proven that it may take more than one attempt to have your design chosen for crowdfunding.
I’ll just highlight a few as time is short and it's best if you browse the site for yourself. As I mentioned JonasKram has submitted another cute set, this one is the ‘Mushroom Haven’ which I personally like more than his previous top 5 winner. The creatures in this design include a dragonfly and a frog… and others designers have followed in JonasKram’s footsteps, and one of them has included a frog in their set to boot. ‘Garden Boot House’ by TrumanBrick, has a slightly better frog design, but I feel it lacks the overall cuteness and finishing touches of JonasKram’s build.

PepeFrost has resubmitted their a number of past designs, but has a couple of other new submissions which all show of the designers ability to implement beautiful curves into structures.

NicolasCarlier’s ‘Viking Shipyard’ is a the latest submission from this proven designer, and we yet again have been given a well thought out build with plenty of detail and playability. With the longhouse as well as a boat, the set will likely be sought after by any fan of the LEGO viking theme.
‘Freight Train’ by KJViktorius provides us with a good train submission, with good looking carriages and a nice tractor being transported… and ‘Blue Train’ by P.D.G for an added tunnel and waterfall.

There are a bunch of watch towers, or wizard towers, submitted this series, but ’Dice Roller, Crooked Tower’ by KaiNeilius would be my choice of them all due to it doubling as a dice tower for when I play board games.

I don’t usually get drawn towards the space theme, though I have seen many submissions of the theme over throughout all the series so far. The imagination that goes into them is quite creative and a few have caught my eye as I browse. This series I might suggest looking at ’Galaxy Dropship’ by giorgioChronas as a large playset and a cool design overall.
‘Californian villa’ by Arachno is a design I really like, mainly because of the landscaping out the front of the villa and the intriguing wild west story it contains.

One_eyeChristos brings us ’Madriguera hideout’, an awesome looking pirate themed build; I’m loving the wooden deck and walkways.

‘The Dig Site’, by octane_thermo, is an archeological design worth viewing for yourself, as is the massive, gothic building titled ‘The Red Rose Castle’ by PierreBauguion. And of course I will mention one of my favourites from series 7, brickhucker's upgraded ‘Dustmark Keep’.
I will stop there before I get carried away with all the interesting LEGO designs, and just say to look out for a whale shark, a medieval gauntlet, the microscope, all llucky’s wild west submissions, a floating island, a giant slug, giant ants, cathedral under construction (maybe due to the limited piece-count of the BDP)… just get over to BrickLink, register if you haven’t already, then vote! ...the link in case you missed it above: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-8/main.page
