This September we featured the LEGO The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell as our grand prize for the Monthly Draw, in addition to hosting a Star Wars-themed build competition. Read on for the list of winners for the month!

September Monthly Draw:

The winner of the LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell is Andrew Oliver from New South Wales, Australia! Oliver first signed up for Brick News VIP back in August 2024 and after just over a year has won a grand prize.

Andrew's win continues a streak of Australian winners over the last four months, despite numerous entrants from other countries including the USA, New Zealand, England and others.

September Build Competition Winners

We hosted a LEGO Star Wars Coruscant Speeder competition, requiring entrants to build a speeder vehicle they'd expect to see flown around Coruscant. In first place, Steven Jordan won a V-19 Torrent valued at $100 for his "Wookie Bentley" submission. Our runner-ups were Ben Clark and Nigel Piltz, both winning a 327th Legion Battle Pack each for their submissions. Steven Jordan submitted this photo when his prize arrived:

That concludes our winners for September 2025! Now we move on to our biggest competition EVER...

Our October 2025 Draw is now open, featuring the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series : Death Star. This is the most expensive prize we've ever hosted at Brick News, valued at a whopping $1500 AUD. As always, our VIPs get strictly one entry each, giving all members an equal chance of winning. You can click the button below to be redirected to our Monthly Draw page and check it out!

fingers crossed - please let me win this one!!! Whilst there is a lot of debate over this set, I still think it would look pretty cool displayed the right way :)

Sorry I didn't share a photo of my battle pack arriving, I was going to take a photo built but getting the two kids to share proved too big of a challenge so its sitting there half built!

Haha no stress over the photos! It's completely optional - it does help us out though when other site members can see photos from our winners 😎
