Welcome back to another set of the week for LEGO Star Wars! This week we're again going to continue the 2009 golden era theme with the Republic Dropship and AT-OT set, numbered 10195. Released in May 2009, with a lifespan of 32 months. It was priced at AUD $400.00, a hefty price tag for a set at the time, however the set has now achieved mythical status and the price has skyrocketed on the second hand market.

Released during the 2009 golden age of LEGO Star Wars, this set contained two large vehicles , the dropship and the All-Terrain Open Transport (AT-OT) in 1758 pieces. The set also contained 8 minifigures, with 6x Phase 1 Clone Troopers (SW0201) and 2x Clone Trooper Pilots (SW0191). These figures were not unique to the set, however the set itself has remained unique and a collectors item for most LSW fans.
Even with a good mix of display and play features, this set is definitely one for the shelf for display due to its rarity and price point nowadays, with extra care to be given to the stickers, whose rarity and desirability have made them incredibly expensive.
Again, lets look at the reception the set had on release from EuroBricks:
I like the concept of this set. I like how it works with the 7675. Each of the models is nice and well done. However, I think we should have received more clones and I think the set is overpriced by about $70. Not sure if LEGO thinks this as well and might be doing a limited run of it just for the collectors and die-hard fans. With the current Gunship and AT-TE still on shelves today and some nice 2nd wave 2009 sets on the way I’m thinking this guy gets forgotten and eventually goes 50% off like the Twilight did last month. Snatch it up then and you will be happy.

If only we had listened, and got more of this set! Ultimately, this vehicle only got about 5 seconds of screen time on Felucia during the Order 66 scene with Aayla Secura, however as a set it's an incredible insight into what LEGO is capable of doing with the source material and hopefully we see more of these double vehicle kinds of sets in the future.
Financial Info (Source: BrickEconomy):
The current value for a new and sealed Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker is estimated around A$3,238 today with current average yearly gain of about 16% but will level off in the next year closer to a 10% annual growth making it a solid investment. On the open market, a used set will fetch in the range of between A$1,217 and A$1,583 depending on the condition.
