In a shock move from LEGO, two new products are listed for the 2023 DC theme lineup. However, to the disappointment of not just the fans of the Dark Knight but the entire DC universe in general, LEGO's two new products are a Batman keychain and a Harley Quinn keychain.
Yes, the theme based on one of the biggest comic book universes of all time will reportedly not be releasing any sets at the beginning of 2023. The news won't be bringing any relief to the fans suffering the drought of sets since the wave that dropped when Robert Pattinson's Batman movie released. With the sets based on the movie not performing as good as LEGO hoped (the 76183 Batcave, originally retailing at LEGO.com.au for $119.99 dropped to as low as $39 at Kmart as they try to get it off shelves, a whopping 66% discount on what should be the theme's flagship set), it is possible that poor performance for the latest wave is what has caused a lack of new sets to be released.

However, this certainly doesn't explain why no sets released for Black Adam, another DC movie which has reportedly made $321.8 million in the box office (source: IMDb). For now, we can only hope that LEGO will release new sets for DC later in the year, but as time passes it's looking more and more like the theme has been abandoned.
