Beginning this month, we have a number of website upgrades being added - some already active now, and some coming later this year. Let's get right into it!
Quarterly Subscription
We've finally added a new plan, the Quarterly Subscription, to our website. A lot of our monthly subscribers have been asking when new plans would be added, and we've been holding off as we need to ensure the business is growing a healthy amount before adding longer plans. The new subscription will cost $14 and last for three months, saving our subscribers $1 every three months. It doesn't sound like much, but then again, $14 isn't a hefty sum for three months of LEGO news, build competitions and monthly draws... Which leads us into our next update!
Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser Draws
Due to popular demand, from October to December we will be running back-to-back draws for the UCS Venator. This will be the first time we ever run the same set for more than a single month. Of course, with the set being an iconic Star Wars set (LEGO's biggest-selling theme) worth approximately $1100 AUD, it's no surprise this was heavily requested.

Even for those who don't want to add the UCS Venator to their collection, winning this beast is a good thing. LEGO Star Wars sets like this typically increase in value after retirement, and could be sold for much higher prices in the future. It also makes a fantastic gift for family or friends if you're willing to go that far.
Legends Program
Speaking of family and friends, our new Legends program has kicked off! You can earn points on our website to put towards free subscriptions. 600 points can be used for a free subscription for one month, while 1500 can be used for three months of free membership!
For each person you invite, you'll earn 100 points. To access your referral link, ensure you're logged into your Brick News account, then go to the "Legends" tab to access your unique link. You can view your points balance from the "My Rewards" tab in your profile. Each person you refer will also earn 100 points.

A screenshot of the current Rewards page is shown above. Please note we're working to update the colour scheme to match the rest of the website - we aim to get our classic black background with white and green text onto the Profile tabs soon, but it's proving to be a bit tricky.
Build Competition Update
Going forward, all participants in our Build Competitions will receive 100 points per competition they enter. Voters will also have the chance to receive points when they vote on their favourite build and comment about their choice.

We plan to continue expanding our website, adding more features and improvements over time. If you have any feedback or suggestions, feel free to contact us via live chat, email info@bricknews.co or simply drop a comment on this post.
