Crowd support is open until October 18th (Pacific time), but check your local times as the page also tells me it is open until October 17!
These crowd supporting, or voting periods, sneak around every so often and are easy to miss when your life doesn't revolve around LEGO or the BDP (lol)
This time round there are 436 designs you can vote for, and again only 5 will go through to into the finalist list for this series.
Take a look and get your votes in if you want your favourite to make it through.
There are a large variety of castles, forts, or medieval homes yet again, but I think there are a number of fresh ideas in the mix that are worth checking out. The inclusion of the Kraken insignia on both shields and clothing have meant there a fair few submissions based around fortifications by the water, and including the related green colour theme which is a change from all the greys of the usual castles and keeps we see.
I'd like to know your favourite Kraken themed design! I couldn't pick a definite favourite myself, as they all had something different that I liked, but I will mention 'Mistguard Castle', by BrickDesignNate, due to its flexible wall construction which is worth talking about.
For something different, and if you liked the LEGO cat that was released but are more of a dog person, you may like 'Border Terrier: A Happy Dog', by Brickicist.
Or perhaps you have some of the designer llucky's Wild West builds already and would like to expand your scene with their Wild West Train Station, or the Blacksmith.
For a larger set I'd recommend 'The Fisherman's Village', by rocknbricks31. Some nice medium sized sets would be 'Blooming Bouquets - a Little Florist's', by JackBrickLover... or 'Monkey', by SylvainLS... or 'Modern Racing Car 1:10 Scale', by LukasRS.
For a much smaller set I like 'Bounce Castle', by Ryan_Xander... or 'Anatomy of the Human Heart', by martin_studio98... or 'Pumpkin Patch', bySophieBuilds.
Other notable mentions for me would be 'King Crab Island', 'Pirate Shores Myriorama', 'Medieval Excavation Site - Strange Find', 'Lifeguard Tower', 'Deep Sea Exploration: Whale Fall', 'Winter Cottage', 'Renaissance Library', and last but absolutely not least is the 'Violin, full size', by KreaMirjam (a 58cm long LEGO violin).
