LEGO DREAMZzz - The New Theme Coming in August

A new LEGO theme that was leaked late last year has finally been officially announced. Targeted towards kids aged 6-12, LEGO DREAMZzz is a colourful theme which launches with its own TV show. The official blurb for the theme is as follows:

"Recreate scenes from the LEGO® DREAMZzz™ TV show or let your imagination run wild and build your own storyline. Team up with Mateo, Izzie, Cooper, Logan and Zoey as they use the power of imagination to journey into the dream world and take on the evil Nightmare King. Kids aged 6+ can harness their creativity with the fantastical toys that will help bring your kids’ wildest dreams to life. Encourage kids to use creativity as their superpower with the LEGO® DREAMZzz™ sets and toys."

While the theme is aimed at kids, it's a welcome surprise to MOC builders keen on getting their hands on new pieces. Some fans were quick to notice new molds introduced, such as this new molded sword (c'mon LEGO, where's our custom molded Darksaber for Star Wars fans?), new hairstyles and armor pieces. Sets range from $35 AUD right up to a whopping $240 AUD.

Medieval MOC builders may look to get their hands on the Dream Village set, which features several golden weapons and a gold helmet, plus desirable pieces for building medieval-style buildings.
