Collaboration Between LEGO and Fortnite Officially Confirmed

It's official. A presentation held at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity during the week has seen Epic Games' president, Adam Sussman, and LEGO Global Chief Product and Marketing Officer, Julia Goldin, come together to reveal that they will be collaborating together on a project labelled 'Digital Twin'.

Fortnite players can expect to see LEGO-related content in-game in the near future. Details have not yet been finalised, but there were comments at the event about players being able to purchase LEGO skins and cosmetics, or being able to interact with LEGO character NPC's in-game.

The goal of the project is to allow users to build something out of LEGO bricks in real life, and then copy it digitally into Fortnite using Unreal Engine. As more news comes forward we'll be sure to share it. Keep an eye on Brick News for further updates.
