Brick News Christmas Build Comp - 10 Pieces Max Allowance!

Christmas is just 21 days away, but our Christmas Build Competition begins this weekend! This time, we have a major restriction in place - your build can only include a maximum of 10 pieces!

Let's break down this year's Christmas Comp so that you can compete.

Rules for the December 2025 Build Competition

Please ensure you follow ALL of the below rules to avoid disqualification. If you have any questions regarding your build's eligibility, please email info@bricknews.com.au with your questions and/or photos and we can advise if your build meets the rules & criteria.

1. You can only submit ONE build into this competition. Multiple builds/entries are not permitted. For example, you cannot submit both a Christmas tree and reindeer build.

2. Non-LEGO parts and components are not permitted in your build unless they are approved third-party light kits. Popular lighting kit brands such as Light My Bricks are allowed. You cannot use components from LEGO competitors such as MegaBloks or knockoff brands.

3. A maximum of 10 LEGO pieces can be used in your build. Using more than 10 pieces will instantly disqualify your build.

4. Your build must be Christmas-themed. Builds not associated with the holiday season will be disqualified.

5. Plagiarism is not allowed. Your build must be your own work - if a design is predominantly copied from an official LEGO build, a Rebrickable build or is otherwise a build copied by another designer, your entry will be void.

How to Enter

Brick News VIPs can enter this competition through the Build Competition Club. If you don't have a Brick News VIP subscription, you can sign up for just $5 (AUD).

Once you've entered the Build Competition Club, navigate to the Submission Thread (which will be pinned to the top of the club). You can then comment with your submission name, some information about your build (optional) and your best 3 photos.

Entries open on the 6th of December, and are open until 11:59pm AEST on the 14th of December. From the 15th - 16st of December, the voting period will be active and VIPs will be able to vote on their favourite submissions. Winners will be contacted and announced shortly after.

What can you score by making a build with just 10 LEGO pieces? Good question! Below are the prizes available for winners of this build competition:

• 1st Place: LEGO Star Wars 75437 Cobb Vanth's Speeder

• 2nd Place: LEGO Speed Champions 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future

• 3rd Place: LEGO Fortnite 77075 Peely & Sparkplug's Camp

Some prizes will be shipped at the beginning of 2026 in accordance with their release dates.
